Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1 - Theme: "Nothing can go wrong..."

A game where you play as a thief who is afraid of nothing - not even when deciding to steal from a haunted mansion...

Demon's Fortune is a survival game set in a procedurally-generated mansion. Your goal is to break the seals protecting certain objects around the mansion in order to gather items - but each time you do so, you will increase Inferus' wrath. Once unleashed, Inferus will throw everything it has at you - from curses to poisonous tombstones - and you’ll need to survive until it calms back down. Make sure to keep a close eye on your health\hunger\cold meters! If you succeed, you'll earn the key to escape the mansion and remain victorious. 

Note: There are (currently!) no jumpscares in the game.

Controls: 

• WASD to Move
• Mouse to look around
• E to interact
• Right click to use held item (eat food, use flashlight)
• F to throw held item
  
• Scroll wheel to scroll through your inventory
• Number keys 1-5 to select specific inventory slot
• Hold tab to reveal cursor
• Opened inventory:
  • Hold left click to drag items between inventories
  • Right click an item to quick-transfer it
  • ESC to quickly close the inventory
